Recommended Removal Companies

When I'm talking to removals customers, I often ask why they chose the company I work for. Often, they will say it was because of a recommendation from a friend or family member.

These recommendations are a good thing, obviously, but "recommended" doesn't always mean what it seems.

Consider this:

Where did the recommendation come from?

If it was family, friends, neighbours or work colleagues, it's probably based on service received. It may be that they know someone within the removals company and know the company is good at what they do. Or they may have used the company and had a good experience.

If the recommendation comes from a website that sells leads to removals companies, it's not going to be so useful. It's more a case of, "I don't know what they're like, but all the time they're paying me, I'll keep recommending them".

It's not exactly the same thing, is it?

Ask the right person.

The only recommendations that matter are those that come from previous customers.

The best way to find a good removals company is to ask people that have moved. I'm sure you'll get a true and honest answer from someone that doesn't stand to gain financially.
